I am a South African clarinettist and workshop leader based in Oxford and I am passionate about the role that music plays in out communities.
As the 2018/2019 Wigmore Hall Learning Trainee Music Leader, I experienced a huge range of co-created community music projects. I currently work as a freelance workshop leader in schools, carehomes and community settings with organisations such as Music at Oxford, The Royal Academy of Music and Wigmore Hall.
The Covid-19 pandemic changed our musical landscape and you can read more about how I responded to it with the Come and Create band and as the Creative Facilitator on the Music for Life residency.
I have also been supported by Arts Council England to explore my own creative voice outside of a workshop setting through the DYCP grant.
