
Luke Newby is a South African clarinettist and workshop leader who is passionate about the role of music in the community.
As the 2018/2019 Wigmore Hall Learning Trainee Music Leader, Luke experienced a huge range of co-created community music projects and currently works as a freelance workshop leader in schools, carehomes and community settings with organisations such as Turtle Key Arts, The Benedetti Foundation and Camde Music Service..
Luke is a founding member of the Sounding Cities duo and has worked as a guest artist with BCMG NEXT.
